And from England we have my baby, built in a shed by a friend of a friend, she's just what i had drawn on a piece of paper 3 years earlier.
Started life as a sportster but as you can see shes had more than a few mods, in fact far to many to list.

Awesome ride you got there! Could you do a copy and paste and list some of the accessories. This contest hits front page once you've won the votes for all to see. We like to have a good idea of what's been invested in your rides. :)

1998 FXSTC Raked, Stretched and Phattened!

alright fellas, read the rules and show me what you got!
Year: 1998
Model: FXSTC
Eng size: 80 c.i.
Transmission(5sp, 6sp etc): 5 Speed
Pipes: Vanson Hines
Seat: Corbin
Wheels: Carriage Works (Typhoon)
Accessories: PM Phatail, Platinum Bleed Feed Air Suspension, BDL 3" Open Belt primary, La Chopper Super BFL Handlebars, Arlen Ness head light.
And the story: A work in progress since 1999 and finally completed last May. The frame was raked to 38 degrees by Shadley Brothers. They stretched the tanks as well. The Performance Machine Phatail Kit along with the Platinum Bleed Feed Air Suspension and conversion to chain final drive and BDL open belt was done by FTF Cylce. The paint was done by the Northeast legend Warren Alessi. The engine is a stock EVO to this day! Chrome added by me! I like to think that is has been inspired by some of the great 1960's and 1970's era choppers and some of the latest custom choppers as well!!

Regards,
Paul

Just a little over a year and a half ago I was riding on the back of my boyfriend's Roadking. After the ride all I could think about was getting my own bike. I had never been in the driver's seat before and had no clue how to do it. But, that didn't stop me. I started looking for a bike and saw one on the internet that caught my eye. It was a 94Harley Sotail Nostalgia. It was just something about that Bike that I liked. However the price just wasn't right. About a week later I was riding down the road in my truck and caught a glimpse of a Harley sitting on the side of the road for sale. I quickly turned around to stop and look at it. I could not believe my eyes. It looked similar to the one I was looking at on the internet. However, it had a different seat, fender, pipes and handlebars. But, not knowing that much about Bikes I just knew it was the same color and I had done a little research on this paticular Harley and knew they only made the nostalgia in one color for that year and knew it was suppose to have the seats with the hair on it and knew that it was also called a Moo Glide. As I was looking at the bike the owner came up to take it back to his house. Five minutes later and I would have missed him. To me this was a sign that I needed to get this Bike. To shorten the story a llittle, I bought it for a great price, this bike was indeed the 94 Nostalgia and only had 10,000 miles on it. The owner had only had it for 5 months and decided he wanted to build a chopper instead. In spite of all the funky stuff he had put it it still looked great. Along with the bike he had all the info on the 1st owner which I was able to contact. He told me he had all the original parts in his garage and to just come and get them since I now had the bike. All the parts were in mint condition just like they were the day he bought the bike. Again, I took this as another sign that I was suppose to have this bike. A month later I was signed up for the Patriot's Cyle Training course and passed!
Aside from learning to ride I have spent many hours researching information about my Bike. I have learned just what makes it run and how to maintain it and also how to fix it. My boyfriend says he has created a monster! I will be 53 years old next month (June) and I can't believe that I waited this long to ride. I just hope I have many more years to come. I love the commeraderie amoungst Bikers. This is something I haven't felt since retiring from the U.S. Air Force. I'm proud to say that not only am I a Single Mom, a Veteran, and a Cancer Survivor I am also now a Lady Biker. Here is a pic of me on my Bike, this was taken on March the 4th of this year. I was getting ready to head to Daytona for the Harley "Get down to Daytona" all Women's Ride for Muscular Dystrophy. I completed the ride and it was truely amazing. I was so proud to be a part of this and what a great cause. Hope you like my Bike. As you can see I put all the original items up to perserve them. And I've added the Heritage seat, tour pack etc. And also added a Faring and lots of chrome. Everyone keeps telling me I need to get a newer Bike since the Evo's are rigid mount and vibrate. But, I don't know any better since this is my first Bike so it feels just fine to me, All I know is that I plan on keeping it for a long time and plan on riding this one for a long time also. I found this paticular bike for a reason ....or maybe it found me :) So, come on Vote for my Bike for June I may not be a seasoned rider or know every thing there is to know about them. But, I do know that I've worked hard on making this Bike look great and I'm so very proud of it.

Settle down Timmy!
Sorry Tim, I'll get it tonight...I've been real busy.
In Kustom Flames' pic, If you look real close in the faux painted wall you can see the reflection, in the glass. There is a red flat bet ford parked in front of this, but no girl. Just my luck.
Tim
Thats too funny! I was going to ask the same question, but now I see it and actually, you can see it in your picture too!
