This is from the Captain of the NC Patriot Guard. I plan to go on Sunday. I cannot make the one on Monday. Good chance to show respect to a fallen Marine. This about a two hour ride from my house, probally close to three from Charlotte, right out 74 east towards Wilmington. We could meet up at Iron Horse in Monroe at 10:00. This will be the first one of these I have gone too.

Okay, NC we are tentative on two dates back to back. Jan. 15 & 16 (please read entire email)
Please check the forum on Friday and Saturday. As soon as all is confirmed all pertinent information will be in the 1st or 2nd posting spot on these two threads.
Sorry, can't give better notice.

I just made it back home after attending Lcpl Jacobs, Funeral in Lumberton, NC. He was killed in Iraq. 19 years old, a sad event.

About 30 or 40 Bikes showed from the Patriot Guard. Three Bikes with large American Flags lead the funeral persetion. Followed by the Hurst then two Cadillacs with family members then about 30 Bikes staggered double formation, followed by the rest of the family and friends. It was quite a site.

The family was very thankful as well as the local police department. What a great way to honor our service men and women who payed the ultimate price. I highly recommend it if you get a chance. There were no protestors.

I put around 250 miles on my bike today and it was pretty cold in NC. I was glad to pull it in the garage.

Very nice group of people riding with the NC and SC patriot Guard.
