You helped me before with downloads I have a 07 RK custom arlan ness big sucker rhinehart ture duals and PClll M812-020 djm and my problem is when I go to start my bike turn on the ign then switch wait for the lite to go off it goes off then comes back on for 5 seconds again, and some times coming to a stop light it just dies then it is hard to restart I have cleared the download out and installed the all 0 download hoping to maybe clean a corupted file then reload 020 djm file back in but that dont seem to help any ideas would be greatly App thanks alot Hammer99

The reason the light comes back on after starting is because there is a diagnostic code stored.

It would help to know what trouble code is being tripped. It may have nothing to do with the PCIII. You can try disconnecting it to see if the problem goes away.

I had the same situation, the CEL would come on for 5 seconds after it initially went out on start up. Code P1004 (relay closed) was coming up. Cleared it and it hasn't come back. The only thing I could think of was, when loading my new map for different pipes, I started the bike with the 9volt battery hooked up to the PClll. You have to pull the code through the odometer diagnostics. Good luck.

If you connect the 9 volt battery to the PCIII and turn on the ignition you will trip the code you see. It does not hurt anything, but you will see the historic code. Once you clear the code it should not come back unless you use the 9 volt again.

If you need to use the 9 volt adapter on the bike again just leave the ignition off.

After you display the code on the odometer, hold the reset button for 5 seconds, the word clear will show. Your done.
