I've seen a lot of posts about Black Box.

Can this stuff be used on new paint to maintain/improve factory finish?

Thanks

So I assume you have a new shiny black paint from the factory?

I would think it would be OK because the factory has a pretty good clear coat.

However...Myself, I probably wouldn't try it on a new bike\paint.

There were some bad reviews on the turtle website:

I know, lots of good reviews too and can you trust the bad ones?

I just wouldn't take the chance and would use a tried and true product.

Thanks...had it for 25 years.

I'm an old car and bike guy. I guess too anal sometimes when it comes to paint. My 57 is Seafoam and White.

My 2015 FLHTK is Black. I swore I would NEVER get another black bike....ugh....what the hell is wrong with me.

I think there's as much related to method as there is to product when waxing/polishing, especially with black paint. Painted surface, applicator, and cloth used to remove the wax/polish needs to be absolutely clean and dust/debris free before going at it.

I'll bet that car is beautiful... Your pic brings back memories of my old pickup. That motor I
never ran real hard, but the torque was amazing for breaking tires loose. ha.. the truck has
been gone for 15 years. Have to admit though, that was the biggest/heaviest mill I ever put
in a rod.

Speaking of olds my latest project was a 215 aluminum with 2 stromberg 81's on top for my
41 Willys coupe. (wanted something Way Different than the SBC SBC SBC's at the shows)

Had to sell off all the rod-parts after 3 years of work related injuries adding up, just have
the "plastic" body left.....maybe someday

Nice meeting you.
