This is the intermediate jet out of a hsr 45 on a V111.

what the hell size is this? Is this some knockoff jet? Haha.

the leftovers I have from my 42 all say 22.5, 25, 27 etc. this to me looks like “6120”

I don’t know where to start for jetting on this motor just what it has in it now and looking at black plugs I think it was running rich.
Main jet is 175
Y2 97 needle on center slot.

getting old sucks. Couldn’t see **** on the needle. Had to use my phone as a magnifier

Wtf. I just saw that too. I have no idea why it said that. Do we have to deal with “fact checker” sensor ship here now too?! Haha. It’s just a carburetor jet I swear.

I took all your dirty pictures out to save bandwidth.

Those numbers look like numbers for the pilot jet.

This might make some interesting reading.

You can also get the installation and tuning manual if you don't have one.

Mikuni link says pilot jet ranges 17.5 - 50 in 2.5 increments, nothing about “6120” mine is stamped with.

So I feel dumb. Apparently the “61” is the mikuni logo in a box? And this pilot jet is 20 which I’ve been told is too small for a45 mikuni and 111”

Look at the exploded view of the HSR carb on Jets R Us. It will list what the oem jets and needle are for each of the HSR carbs. That Mik45 out of the box is pretty close to perfect for your little 111 engine. They can also supply jets and every other piece of that HSR carb.

Hey hey heyTurbo, it’s not the size of the “lil 111” that matters ok hahaha.

Factory looks like 25 pilot 175 main for the 45. I had a 25 so I put that in last night. Took it for a good warm up cruise, pulled into a Burger King parking lot and readjusted the air mixture screw to its happy medium.

then took it for a real test ride. She pulls pretty dam good I’d say. Not “scary fast” like the owner originally told me but that’s relative, I’m used to my 131” fxr haha but compared to an 80” evo yea this 111 does not disappoint. Didn’t get any coughing through the carb, no sputters, no smoke out the exhaust, do get a good amount of decel pop with hard engine braking but I’ve got thunderheaders and usually have that to some degree.

when I got home checked the placement of the mixture screw and it’s almost exactly two full turns which should be spot on.

haven’t checked the plugs but they were brand new before this ride, plus I don’t have a clue how to read them anyway haha.
