I've heard some say that the sert is a better tool for high compression builds. I'm doing a build now and keeping the powercommander I already have. Is there a breakover point with compression? Is it 190? 185? Of course the heads will be properly ported, squench set to 35-40, 2 into 1 pipe, etc.

thanks

It is not so much a compression deal as much as when you start to see where you run out of room to add enough fuel to the engine. We have done some 117 engines that had a pc , now the customer had flashed the the ECm with the high output 103 map so we where ok with out that we would have had to use something else. Even with the flash the SERT would have been a better choice. Customer wanted the PC though.
