Map Request: 2010 Iron 883 - PCV + Autotune. Pls

Hi,

I installed my PCV and Autotune to my 2010 Harley Davidson Iron 883. I have the Vance and Hines Staggered Short Shots and Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather on the bike so I chose map (15-009-006) from the Power Commander site as this best describes what I have installed on the bike.

I rode the bike for an hour and found a couple of issues.

The bike had several flat spots when accelerating as if the bike was hesitating when the throttle was engaged.

If I try to ride at a constant speed (20-30kms/hr) the bike is very rough and almost feel I need to accelerate so to smooth it out.

On deceleration the exhaust constantly pops. I understand some popping is unavoidable but this is actually quite bad.

Note: The bike idles fine at standstill and does not switch off.

I previously had the Scremin Eagle slip on mufflers with the stock air cleaner and stock ECU and had no issues.

I live in Australia so should I be using a different map than those on the CD/PC site or Is there a better map that would be suited for my bike?

Also I was under the impression the Autotune would adapt to the requirements of the bike and make any changes necessary.

Hope you could help.

Thanks :)

I took the bike out again this morning. After warming up the bike i gave the throttle a quick rev and it did not repond smoothly, with the engine reving out a split second after i let go of the throttle.

i was cruising at around 60kms/hr in 3rd gear and gave it a hit on the throttle and there was a definite delay before the bike responded. Almost like it was struggling to respond. It wasn't an issue with the gear i was in as some might suspect.
It's almost like it makes a whole lot of noise but doesn't actually go anywhere.

Once it picks up though it feel like it smooths out.

Hope someone is able to help.

Please consider this thread resolved.

I could not understand why the bike was running so rough, and was having so many problems till I hooked up my laptop and read the trim tables.

They were all over the place to say the least, completely contradicting the map I downloaded from the power commander site. I eventually had to disable the autotune all together and ran without it.

The issues were being caused by a faulty Autotune module. On closer inspection to the main unit I discovered one of the wires in the main wiring loom was frayed.

Once it was removed the bike functions correctly.

thanks anyway
