Starting this thread specifically for Magnetti Marelli maps. Hopefully Members will post theirs and the moderators will make this a sticky.
As us MM owners know, it can be a real struggle finding anyone to even tune a MM/EFI. I thought it would be easier if we had a spot just for our maps be they PC or SERT. Saves perusing dozens of threads so start posting away!!

Map needed

Hello, I just installed V&H Dresser Duals and need a map for the PCIIIr. Loaded the M802-325 (samson rolled ovals) but getting some popping on decel. and seems to have lower mpg.
Thanks for any advice

After reading through some threads I think I have solved my problems. I didn't realize about checking the throttle position. When I checked it hooked to laptop it was showing 10% closed (not good). Reset it to 0% closed and now I need to try it out. If this cures the popping I will be very happy. This might even be the reason for the post I wrote about the high rpm between shifts. :thanks:

If your are running the MM TB, there is a very specific way to set cold high idle and hot low idle. As for high rev's between shifts this happened to me a couple of times and I had my throttle lock a tad to tight so it wasn't closing all the way. But when you are stopping and you go below 1600 rpms and the clutch is pulled the gas is shut off anyhow till I think like 1100 rpms. I have monkeyed with the TPS too. For some reason that was out of whack on my bike but a c.h. Loosened it with the bike fully warmed up and just very carefully tapped it back towards the engine to bring the TPS into the range it was supposed to be in. Don't recommend this for most folks but hey when your desparate one'll do anything. I moved it back like a red c.h. which is much finer than just a c.h.!

I think the MM is a really nice TB if you can get it to run correctly which requires a bit of mechanical skill, luck and the black arts. keepem sharp

After riding it today with the new 0% throttle position set it was still popping  .
Went back to lap top and lowered 2000,2500 5 down each. Lowered 3000,3500,4000 10 each. All these were in the 0% throttle column. This helped some but still getting a little on decel.:hmmm:

'00 Ultra

I have a 2000 Ultra and just did a 95" stage 1. I am putting on ceramic coated original equipment headers and S&S SPO mufflers. I also am adding a PC III usb. Does anyone have a similiar (or close) setup? Can you share a good beginning point map?

Thanks,
Ken

Getting close to being tuned right

I've got an '01 Ultra, new 95" big bore, Wiseco 10.5/1 forged, heads ported and polished and bigger valves, Andrews 37G gear driven cams, Crane adjustable pushrods and tappets, S/E Air filter system, S/E slipons.

We started with the stock SERT map for 1550 HO, but had high cold idle. My HD brother/computerwizard/HD-owner/expert Dave is tweaking the map to address this issue.

My other HD brother/owner/expertHDwrench Jerry wants to adjust the cold idle temp screw today, since tweaking the map still leaves it idling about 1800 RPMs.

I'll be glad to share this and any other maps as we get them set right.
