Here is my lowered '06 1200c compared to my wife's new '06 1200L. Her bike is bone stock and my bike has 11" progressive rears and 2" lowered progressive front springs. Big difference.

I do like her handlebars alot...makes slow speed steering feel so much more natural. I don't like her mid mounts though.

Nice choice 1200L

I have a 1200L and put forward pegs on,,It gives you much more choice for leg position, nice to have,The engine guard is to far forward for pegs if you have short legs. You can shift w/toes or heel with forward pegs and mid controls. LOL

You actually made that custom look pretty damn good. Even stripped off that goofy engine chrome! Heheh. By the by, that Low ain't quite stock. You put on an engine guard!

Both bike looks great, I really like how the custom looks lowered.

What did you use to lower your custom and how much did it actually lower the seat height? If you don't mind how was the cost and did you do the work yourself? Sorry for all the questions, but I have been thinking about it and I am just starting to check it out.
