Hey,

Have any of you guys mounted speakers on the crash bars or in the lower leg fairings?

I was thinking of doing this with rumble road type speakers.

Think it will add anything to sound quality and or volume?

Hey man that is a sweet looking ride you have there...
I certainly love that color with the black leather bags...
I noticed though the highway pegs you have there and where they are located...
I had thought I would like mine located in the same manner...Location...
What method did you use and could you supply some pics...
Courious if you had mounted them to the crash bars or some other method...
Also the speakers you have mounted in the lower fairings are they usefull as far as getting the full effect of sound to your ears?
Being at the knee level I was wondering how much sound you actually lost at highway speeds...Or is this like a bass speaker and the ones in the fairings are the highs and mids...
If you have or can provide pics of the Highway pegs attachments...
Thanks

The pegs are attached to the floorboards with a setup from kwstretcher. I tried to give a link to their site, but their site seems to be down at this time.

The speakers actually add quite a bit of sound, it kind of sounds like a "wall of sound" now. They are set up as full range speakers, I tried setting them us as bass only but that didn't work very well.
