I think you better add another zero to the numbers in order to be realistic...you aren't going to find any kind of HD for less than a couple of thousand dollars...and that would be a pretty rare find anyway...
A trashy old basket case with a lot of missing parts will go for a few thousand dollars.
I mean, you can keep looking and you MIGHT find the rare old guy or widow woman trying to get rid of some crates of parts for a song...but I'd be pretty surprised.
16 years ago I found a 49 Panhead basket case and gave 2500 for it just to get the title...it was a rare find and that was 16 years ago...the cases had been welded together and there was not much of anything there except a butchered rigid graft frame and a tranny that was trashed...a couple of spoked and rusted wheels. I wanted the title.
