Anybody use locktite on the axle? I've gone both ways on this one. Just curious what others are doing. Manual does not call for it.

The correct torque on the nut is all you need. I'd use some anti seize on the inner parts of the axle, just to prevent using heavy equipment to disassemble it next time. Do you use locktite on your cars lug nuts?

I do use antiseize. Not I don't on my car lugs, but there 5 of them. Just curious.

Did it yesterday. Use antiseize on axle. Nothing on nut. This is what I usually do. But the first I did it the guy who help me told me to locktite. Usually I forget until afterwards.

Nope, no loctite on axle nuts. Just torque 'em up. I do put in cotter pin in the rear.
