I have them on my 09 SG but in chrome. I got them mainly for looks because I like the design. I never put my feet on them but that’s just me – like to keep them on the floorboards. The o rings will only last you about a year even without use. You can buy replacement o rings from Lindby but you will have the same problem. They just don’t stand up to the outside elements. I replaced mine with EPDM o rings. They stand up to heat and sunlight but not oil or gas, so as long as you don’t get that on them you will never have to replace them again. As far as the price you paid – not bad. Lindby sells them for $350 and I have seen them for as low as $315. Here are a few pics of mine.
