I think Honda Brite runs about $2 less than S100.

I put close to same miles as you but don't wash it that often unless I run into some rain or bunch of bugs.

Try Dri Wash and Guard, it does not require water and does just as good of a job. It cleans, conditions and protects in one step. 32 OZ runs about $40 but will clean your bike about 100 times. I use it an my Ultra and it takes me about 15 minutes for a full detail.

I've started riding to work as well, but only 2, maybe 3 days a week. The monsoon season just hit us in force this past week, so that's slowed down some. I've gotten so used to the dry heat that the current humidity levels are killing me! (People laugh about the 'dry heat' but there's a huge difference!) I only have a 7 mile commute though, going against rush hour traffic, so that's why my miles don't add up quite so much!

I dilute mine even more. Almost 3 to 1, I put the large S100 in a garden sprayer and then fill the sprayer up with water. As was said, it works just as good and rinses off much easier. I never use it full strength anymore.

 

Hi fcoxwell, Luckily we're business casual here.....actually we can wear jeans in the Summer, but I don't normally. I'll wear my nylon chaps that are easy on/off and I my leather jacket. If I have to wear a suit I'll do the same thing and roll the jacket up and put it in the T-Bag. For the most part, I'm wrinkle free and the T-Bag is perfect for the laptop and the gym bag (or suit jacket).

I'm not a pro, and I don't know as much as people who do this full time. I'm just telling you what I do.

Best advice is to listen to people who know what they are talking about, which wouldn't include me.

S100 is a line of products. This thread is talking about their bike wash.

 

Yeah. I use their general bike cleaner. Spray it all over. Hose it off. Sort of works to get most of the crap off the bike.

Good enough for me, but then I'm not trying to clean the bike properly, just get most of the crap off of it.

Certainly not going to win any competitions But they have stuff that can, I guess.

If I am looking at the correct site they get 77.09 for it. I found this site - Accessory International

They charge 43.95 there. Using Google I found their dealer wholesale page and the price there is 38.99 so I don't think $5 over dealer cost is bad at all.

 

Guess I should have gone to the HD web site first. The link from there to Zanotti is flakey. Their own link to their "Custom Web Page" gives a 404. I gave up and just tried to order through Hale's. The price was $36.76.

Just got a "sample" bottle of Simple Green Extreme(aviation cleaner)...chit works great, gonna be able to cut it about 100 to 1...
