A friend of mine does F&I training for HD, she told me that have a great lease program, its just not well publicized. The residual values are sky high and the money factors are reasonable, you can even residualize accesories. All of these factors make for a lease that is great if yu dont want to own your bike forever, just for a finite time period.

On a leased vehicle you only pay sales tax as you make the monthly payments, rather than on the entire sales price up front! On a new bike which cost, say $20k, if you only planned to keep it 3 years, you would save about $1500. When I went to RUB school, they taught me it could be kind of stupid to give money away. Lease vs purchase epends on many factors, I purchased my king, and my GT2, because I plan to keep them a long time, and also to modify them. I lease my Audi so i could save several thousand $$$ to help pay for the king.

Maybe, if everyone else will keep donating to state and local governments, my taxes will go down? (LOL)

I found that alot of HD dealers offer leasing. A 36 mo. lease payment about equals a 72 mo. loan payment. Not really the best way to go, for me anyhow. Just more info to add to my wannabearub education.
