Anyone have any experience parking your hog at Vegas hotels? Is secure parking available, or is it a lost bike waiting to happen?

All I can say is quality hotels have quality security. In addition to cameras, and uniformed guys in golf carts patrolling around, look for where the High Dollar cars are parked. Sometimes it's worth it to pay the Valet, and park it yourself in the valet area. It's a little more secure there than general parking. Another thing to keep in mind is the heat and lot surface. A lot of Vegas lots are black top, and in the heat the kickstand will sink in and the bike will topple. I've seen bikes fall over onto each other like dominoes in the Las Vegas heat. LVPD always park their bikes on the center stand so that WHEN the stand sinks in, it goes staight down and balances on the tires, not over on it's side.

The Aladdin [sp] let me park my bike in the VIP parking area. A little tip to the valet goes a long way too. It's a shaded parking lot BTW in sight of the main entrance and the valet on duty. The normal bike parking is way out in back by the exit right next to the street and out of sight.

Stayed downtown at the Golden Nugget last year and rented a FlHTCUI. They let me park it in the parking structure on the ground floor right next to the attendants. No problem. The strip is great to cruise at night. One more thang...It gets chilly this time of year there...Take your leathers if you plan on riding at night......

Yeah talk to the valet. For some tip money they will hook you up. This goes for every hotel valet in Vegas also.

Las Vegas is one of the few places where, bikes are rarely stolen while on the Casino properties. Lots of people park in the parking garages in small spaces around the elevators and such. I don't tip anybody ever and never had a problem. Plus I have my insurance paid up just in case, but that issue could happen anywhere. Don't fret about your bike being stolen, just use common sense, lock it and take the keys.

Now come on, and make your deposit.

Oh yeah you will need chaps here this time of year. P.S.The Frosty Balls Run is Jan 14 out of the HD store~!Awesome!
