Anybody know if A-Town (or should I call it by it's given name, Silvertown) is still outside Kunsan AB (although it's actually about 4 miles away) and do they still have the free bus to town? When we were there in the mid 1970's, it was the best kept secret from stateside dependent wives. TIA. jopez

Man, it was still there 7-8 years ago. There were the free buses and AAFES taxis running. I still miss mama-san's yaki-mandu (sp?). That's some good eatin'.

I'm at Osan now and yes, A-Town is still outside of Kunsan I can't speak for the free bus, but I expect it still runs since few troops have vehicles. My son's on his way to Kunsan in January. If he says things have changed I'll let you know.
