I did 3 K on this Street Glide last summer in about 10 days. Camping out on the road. I was thinking about getting a Tour-Pak and then decided that I sort of don't like the stacked up look behind the passenger seat. For sure I don't care for the Barca-Lounger config w/ cushions, arm rests, speakers, OB-GYN stirrups (! ! ! ! ! ! ), video monitor and wet bar off the back of the larger bikes.

I think the Street Glide is a shorter wheelbase, tighter clearance between the fork and front of the engine.

Yes. Oil consumption. Many '05s and some '06s had bad valve seals and burned oil excessively. I installed the newer seals when going to 95" on mine right after purchase.

Monitor your oil consumption more closely than usual for the first 5,000 miles. Hopefully you've got the good seals.

You would be wrong to keep thinking that. Whether talking Road King, Road Glide Ultra, Road Glide Custom, Street Glide, Electra Glide Classic, or Ultra Classic, they all have the same frame, wheelbase (63.5 inches), and steering head rake (26 degrees). The Street Glide (and Road Glide Custom) has ~3/4" shorter rear suspension due to the rear profile shocks - something that leads them to actually handle a little worse than the FLHTC/U, unless you lower the front, also.

OK, then why do the H-D chrome wind deflectors clear the engine guard on the Road Glide, but not on the Street Glide? And they LOOK longer -- probably due to the heaps of over-stuffed stuff hanging off them.

Don't let data and specifications get in the way, just draw conclusions by how things look.

But if you want to make accurate comparisons, go here and poke around:

As far as wind chrome wind deflectors go, why would you want them with a fairing? But hmmmm . . . let me think here . . . . do Road Glides and Street Glides have the same fairing?
