Here is one ride that is a must during rally week. Hwy 16A (Iron Mountain Road) is between Mt. Rushmore and Keystone. The bridges are beautiful and there are 3 one-way tunnels to go through. Beginners beware though because there are some very sharp curves!

While in the area just north of Yellowstone route 212 Bear Tooth Pass is an incredible ride. Nice twisties and even some snow on some of the mountain. When you get to the top you can watch peopl riding up the road for quite a ways. Dress warm it can be quite chilly, it was 107 degrees in sturgis and about 40 at the top of Bear Tooth Pass.

I was just up there over July 4th and this is a great ride. Also you have to do Needles Highway, and Custer wildlife loop, all of these roads connect so you make a day of it.

Yep, one of my favorites. As Deb and FLHT both said though, pay attention on this road and on Needles also. If you are experienced, sober, and watch close for critters try doing these roads at night. Rushmore is lighted for an hour after dark (9-10?) and looks very cool through the tunnels. Here's a picture of Rushmore taken during daylight from one of the tunnels that Deb refers to.
