Hi all, I'm new to this. I am looking to purchase an intercom system for my 08 Road Glide. I have looked through the internet and post here for the best but I am still undecided. I have narrowed my choices to either the J&M cb 2003 or the Intaride EVO.

I am after a recommendation from someone here who actually owns one of the above.

Headsets: Does anyone here use the J&M slide in headsets? can you recommend them?

Earphones: can you recommend them, are they comfortable?

Thanks to all in advance that will respond.

Mark.

I have the stock Harley headset and both the high end and low end J&M headsets. I am using them on an EG Ultra so the Radio/Intercom,CB is built in, but I can comment on the sound quality.

The stock H/D set is pretty weak, better then nothing, but just, it is in my daughter's 3/4 helmet more so we can talk when we ride rather then for the music. My wife has the low end J&M built into her KBC 3/4 helmet and the sound is pretty decent. The mic works well and I even grab her helmet if the weather is decent and I am on the superslab. I have a Nolan N-102 flip front helmet and put the high end J&M in there. The sound is really very good and the fit was near perfect. The mic is a little close to my mouth, but I plan on doing a little surgury to the padding this weekend to address that.

I am thinking about adding a 1/2 helet to the collection and am considering ordering the one from J&M with the headset built into the ear flaps.

Hope this helps, - Harry

I have the J&M on my '07 RKC and am very happy with it. I have the high end headsets in a 3/4 KBC helmet and also in a Nolan N1002 flip face helmet. I am happy with my setup. However, I only use the CB for communications. I do not have any music or GPS source plugged into the J&M.

+ 1 on the J&M setup.

I have the J&M headset that you add to half helmets. So far I'm not too impressed. But that may be because of my loud Kerker exhaust. The Harley headset inside my 3/4 helmets sounds better...but the 3/4 helmets definitely block more of the exhaust noise.
