I don't have the magazine in front of me, so I've probably gotten this all screwed up, but wtf . . . .

I was reading an article in the May issue of American Iron about increasing horse power and one of the first things they mentioned was the clutch.

How can the clutch improve horse power?

If anyone has the mag handy, please clarify what the article is saying.

Based on experience from the rest of my cars, you are going to have to be sure the clutch can handle the power. No sense in adding power that will never reach the wheels. And now, you have to replace the clutch all the time.

Power transmission is the first thing I look at before I add power, whether or not the parts even need to be beefed.
