Well, I started my motorcycle life in 2001 when I bought (actually got raped by the dealer) a 2001 883C. Did a custom paint job and rode the hell out of it. Took the ole lady out once on it and she decided I needed a Road King. Went through the Police Motorcycle School and then bought the Road King. Put 4000 miles on my first year and am looking forward to the next year.
