I say it's 13 if you live anywhere around Buffalo, less most other places. How 'bout some of you upstaters weighing in on this? I watched MNF tonight wich was in Buffalo and noticed 13 wings on each plate they showed being served up. I use to live in vegas 25 years ago and they had some pretty good wing joints out in town and it was always 13 wings in an order.
Anyone here ever worked in or had a friend who worked in a wing place? I love the wings!

At the Jack Pine Bar in Kinross, MI we get all the wings we can eat during "bike night" Wednesdays! Don't know what a regular order consists of...I'll have to ask.

As to the question. "Why have a wing when you could have a breast?", it's because they ain't offering breasts, they're offering wings. Buffalo breasts???:hmmm:

Here most orders are 15 but many places let you choose how many.

About why not breasts... I thought everyone knew chickens in Buffalo don't have breasts.
