Turn ignition on, pull out choke, thumb starter, thumb starter again, idle for a 1-3 minutes depending on temps (18 degrees late this afternoon), dirt bike the Heritage out the 1/2 mile hilly driveway, accelerate slowly and brake slowly on snowy roads, enjoy no bugs, return to garage after a great ride and many extended looks from others, let bike cool, be anal and clean it, cover it. Repeat soon.

Thats the way everyone should do their winterizing. Got out fer a3hr ride yesterday, perfect. For today we have much frozen rain and snow, snow , snow. Keep putten on those miles.

My favorite way of winterizing my bike is to put on EXTRA LAYERS OF CLOTHING , and when the bike is not in use for a day or two I add a battery tender. By the way rode the wheels off of her today, temp. reached 60. No need for the extra layers today!!!!!!
