Just took my 03' Heritage Softail Classic out for its last ride before the snow starts to fall. Was driving on a really quite beautiful smooth road. For some reason, just got the "urge" to open her up. I hit 90 mph.. First time I've ever gone that fast. I sure felt the adrenaline, and when I stopped - well, even a few hours later I still have this big grin………:woohoo:

130 mph on a 750 kawasaki I had about 25 years ago. Around 110 mph on my old Lowrider. 140 mph in a 91 corvette I once owned. 100 mph on my Street Glide but she will do more.

Indicating 100 with my wife on the back, when the unmarked trooper passed me. My lucky day!

I usually run my 01 Road glide up over 100 every time I ride her, have had her up to 110+ a couple of times. Pretty short sections where it's kinda safe around here. If I was out in Montana or some place like that, I'd really find out how fast she'll go...
Before my mild 95" build, I didn't/couldn't get her going all that fast although I did cruise all the way across SD, and MN at 90+ on my way to Milwaukee back in '03..

duhast, don't worry, yer not gonna hurt that motor, that's what the rev limiter is for. Run her out til she bumps the rev limiter in 4th gear and you should be at 100 or damn close to it

130+ on my 900 cow back in the day.

RK, 85ish maye once.

Funny how age, and the experience of hitting an immovible object at high speed can change one's perspective of cannonballs.

As my speedo only goes up to 120, hats the highest I can claim...but I do have a certified 103 a few months ago heh

But I'll *never never* do it again (wink wink)
