You cannot have the PCIIIusb software open at the same time the "accel pump" software is open. You must open the "accel pump" utility and click the button (with either the 9 volt battery connected or the bike running).

As for the Rev Xtend, you do not need to reflash the ECM to increase the rev limit. The PCIIIusb allows for this. You need to have either the bike running or the 9 volt adapter connected then open the PCIIIusb software. Press the Ctrl and the F key at the same time. You should see a window open that mentions the Rev Xtend with an empty box next to it. Click that box and then click OK. If you not see anything in the window let me know and I can help you from there.

On the 2008 Touring Models (no other models are affected) when the Rev Xtend feature is used the tach will only read up to 5,000 rpm even though the bike actually revs to 6,200.

There is no "fix" for this. It is simply the way it is. If you must have a tach reading for shifting I could make you a really long deal on one of our LCD Displays.
