Some asshat posted up an 03 road king classic with ~1300 miles on craigslist for $7000. I did some digging and found the exact same post on craigslist sites all over the country. Knowing it was a scam I decided to toy with the guy a bit...just for grins. He said he'd ship it for free as soon as he got my $2500 deposit. Ummm... no thanks.

I took some pictures of a friends custom Night Train a few years back and posted it on e-bay.

About a month later some one sent me an alert saying the bike was on Craigs list (I don't remember how I got the alert).
I checked it out and someone had taken the pictures off of e-bay and was selling the bike in "England".
Only trouble was the bike was still here in New Hampshire.

I e-mailed the guy and told him to stop :nunu:
He e-mailed me and said thanks for the pics and GFYS

The add was removed but it goes to show you just how often this stuff happens.
