I have a simple request but I'm finding out it's not so simple without spending $$$$$$$$ on new shocks. I have an old Intruder 800. I need to lift the rear suspension about 1 - 2 inches. Why? For several reasons. I keep scraping the peg support bar on tight turns which, on this particular bike, is very dangerous. I don't like how low the rear sits even with the spring preload set to its highest tension on both shocks. I would really like to have the rear sit higher but can't find how to do it.

I searched for shock extenders but cant find them anywhere. Longer shocks cost way too much. All I need is $20 piece of aluminum cast into 2 shock mount extenders. Is that too much to ask for?

Has anyone come across anything like this?

shouldn't be too much work to design/draw the mounts and have a good machine/fab shop cut them.
of course, you need to find a good fab shop that is able and willing to listen to YOUR needs, and not give you what THEY think you need.
or better yet, just do a SolidWorks model and feed a cutter with the geometry.
