I use the X-Citing Lighting HID system on my 98 Road King. It has a solenoid operated shade that goes around the bulb when on lo-beam, and then on hi-beam the shade moves away from the bulb. I have used HID for about 4 years. It is the most effective way of being seen by cagers and for that margin of safety it is a real bargain! I work at a hi-performance bike shop and when test riding a customker's bike I have to remember I am not on my own and be careful! Friday in Ohio Send me an email and I will send some pics of the front of my bike. Use "HID Pics" on the subject linePhattexas said:Anyone have HID? I've run across this dual HID kit, little pricey. I had HID on my last bike and loved it but it was only low beam.
