Hey Girls.. Ever been screwed ,and it not feel good???

I bet you Lurkers are just clicking away to read this... This is a girl Thang.... here goes... Woman walks into repair shop(that would be me) Says the A/C is not cooling in my Lincoln... The screwer (man) from Maryland, says... I'll fix it.... but you really should convert to new freon 134R ... old stuff is out- lawed...and very expensive... me says o.k... that was last Aug.01... The hoop-t as I fondly call her has now been worked on 4 times... at the tune of almost $800.00 , got it back 7/01/02 lasted 1.5 weeks left me on the side of the road..in Virginia had it towed back to farm... been sitting for 4 months... trying to get the screwer to come get and tow to MD. so he can fix it... now he won't.. soo on Monday... a new repair shop will be picking it up ... another $ 600.00 ..., Talk about being screwed... and It didn't feel good at all! I've been rippped off.... I think next week I'm going to call his wife and tell her I had an affair with her O.M... and now I'm Pregnant.... any of you girls get screwed at the repair shop????

what does the A/C being repaired have to do with the other repairs and your current strandedness by the side of the road?

She's jokes kidding....

JimmyK, I'm reasonably certain that harleygirl64 is joking. She's got her own weird sense of humor. I'm seeing it come out in her posts in other threads.

I think I've figured out that she's not asking or suggesting to be taken literally. She's telling us in this thread what she'd do in her dreams to that repairshop jerk. We've all had thoughts about what we'd do to bla bla bla if..... We don't act upon the thoughts.

I had Lisa (huckelberry1) read the thread to see if I misread what harleygirl64 was "saying". Lisa said she that all of us feel intense anger and have fantasies about getting back at someone. Lisa said those fantasies make us feel better--you never intend to do them. They are just fantasies. I agree. I think harleygirl64 would agree. Although she might dream about making that call, she wouldn't.

Lisa (huckelberry1) sounds like a psychiatrist. If so, ask her what she thinks about the dream I have where I see myself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid, with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at me

Ok I have to ask as it may have something to do with the proper interpretation. These women with the little pickles, are they in front of you, or :eek: behind you?

Hi Every one..O.K let me clarify some stuff about this thread I started... 1st off) I will agree with you Pasadeanajim that yes , it was just a thought of mine about making that phone call to the guys wife... I was venting my frustrations about having to spend all this money... and my car is still broke down..and it's going to cost me even more AGAIN to have it fixed.. The guy did not do what he was suppose to do ... he won't stand behind his work.... And I'm at his mercey.... I just feel like I have been totally ripped off... I even ask him... How would you feel if this happened to you... and he just shrugged it off...he could care less... he got his.. I'm sure for most of us... money doesn't come easy.. My ex o.m and I have given up alot for me to stay home with the kids... and sometimes the money doesn't come easy... and to have to keep payin for something that was not done correct is hard to swallow...I feel like because I'm a woman ..some of these repair guys take advantage of us... Trust me I am not a vindictive person.. and I know when you men hear a woman make the prego comment , in the spite full way I did it flips you all out! I'm not someone that goes out of my way to cause trouble... I just expect to be treated like I treat others... Sorry if I alarmed any one... My comments were on the same line as when I read about what some of you guys would like to do about those F**cking idiot cagers..that have almost run them over... I think I've read about shooting them with 357's.... blowing them up.. Following them home and kicking their a$$ .etc...etc..etc..just to mention a few... comments made in a time of anger and fear... I'm not sure Pasadeanajim how to take your comment (as being good or bad) about me having a weird sense of humor, I've had a lot of emotional crap piled upon me for many years.. alot of people controlling my life... and I'm trying find some peace and happiness within myself.... I now look to find the goodness and happiness in lifes situtations... as I have first hand experience in seeing life disappear in an instant... I don't mean to offend anyone... just trying to have a little fun... and I have really enjoyed talking to all of you... I've learned alot from all of you... and I'm finding out there are still good people in this world.. Thanks everyone... nice to see I have all of you doing alittle thinking! have a good one!

Having a weird sense of humor isnt' a bad thing for a biker. My colleagues are often accusing me of that. So I believe it is a good thing!:D

And yes, there are a lot of good people in the world. Many of them right here on the H/D Forum.

HarleyGirl, if it makes you feel any better, I think the some repair guys take advantage of anyone they can, regardless of sex. Sorry about the car problems, but I believe he was recommending the right thing. Freon is expensive. If I had an old freon system and it went out, I wouldn't fix it, it would have had a new A/C system installed....
