Can someone explain to me why the Fatboy has greater lean angels (28/30 degrees) vs the Heritage Classic (26/29 degrees). Are the floorboards positioned differently?

both bikes are essential identical. the only thing I can think of is the stock FB is lighter than the Heritage (bags and windshield being included on the Heritage). could that weight make the difference?
If my math is correct, the Heritage only weighs 31 lbs more than the FB due to its extra stuff. I doubt those 31 lbs will make such a dramatic difference. Because the lean angles are reduced on both sides, I don't think the exhaust is the culprit either. I'm thinking the floorboards must be positioned differently?
I'm not sure I'd call one degree a "dramatic difference." In fact, I'd be willing to bet most people wouldn't even notice it.
The fatboy has fatter tires, less weight, higher exhaust, etc.
It could be any of those or a combination of those, but any way you look at it, one degree of lean angle on a cruiser just isn't a big deal.
from grandpa Tom: 07 Heritage with 11,600 miles and have never scraped either side turning..
04 Heritage.....boy, I sure have. try cornering like I do with my 1200R
and it lights up the floorboards. my basic mind can't keep the two
separated, I guess. continue to make that mistake occasionally.......
