I have the v&h bss on my lowrider and i installed the thundermonsters in the current baffle locatation I know they say a 3 inch min. Should I have gone further up the pipe? Has anyone really played with thundermonster location in the pipe?

Changing the position of the Thundermonster, or any other baffling device, will change the sound and torque curve. For best low RPM torque you want the device as close to the outlet as possible. You will have to move it around to see how you like the sound best.....Bill
