First, this is my first Harley.
Then, I plan on customizing an 06' Nightrain, and it begins with the engine.

Can you guys please clue me in on what I need to know about an 06, and the changes I need to consider.
My dealer has been great, but I know that I will catch something they miss, so I might as well get educated here.

The engine will be receiving the 95" stage II package.
They recommended the SERT module, but the salesman didn't seem to know about the new closed loop system.

My question is this, how do I approach buying the right stuff for this engine.
Is the SERT the right module?
Should I add a primary tensioner, and which one?
Will aftermarket exhaust alter the known combination(s) with the new O2 sensor?

V&H, with their moronic Tech ladies have told me that they are updating their systems for the 06', but for some reason they are acting like it's top secret information and won't clue me in on any performance changes.

So, what else do I need to know to get the full amount of power out of this engine?
Thanks in advance.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the '06 Night Train has the closed-loop system. It's for Dyna models only this year. You'll need a SERT for your build.
