Swodo, how long have you been riding, have you had any automobile accidents, Do you consider yourself a quick thinker, have you taken a motorcycle safety course ??? I think you should look at all the facts before you ride a motorcycle, with or without a helmet.

As I always say, the best safety equipment is your head.....AVOID the accident, choice should be yours though !!!!!!

I am not taking a position one way or the other. I live in Texas, I have Insurance, I ride without one.

Thats not only taking a position but making a statement........!!!

Because I ride 1/2 of my riding in no helmet states because I wish I had a choice. I am considering a move to a warmer "choice" state, I love the freedom, realize and understand the risks and ride aware and alert because of those risks. I prefer to not need safety equipment by avoiding accidents.

I'll take a thick skull over a helmet anyday !!! It just feels better !! 25 Years on the streets with no head injuries, I'm either good or lucky. If something happens tomorow it should be my choice, I've had a good run anyways. Hundreds of thousands of enjoyable miles riding wearing a helmet ony when required and sometimes not even then !!!

I have NO problem with anyone wearing one. Just wish we could get all the facts so people could make "informed decisions"....

Did you know more children die from bicycles in this country than by guns ??? Maybe they should be sold with pedal locks ???
