Hello fron Maine
Hi All,
My names Jeff and I live in Southern Maine. I ride an 02 E-Glide Classic that I bought in 02 with 500 miles on it. My bike just turned 24K so I ride it alittle. I traded a 98 1200 Sporty in on it and never looked back. I've been riding since the early 70's. First bike was a 250 Yamaha Enduro which was also my first car. In 82 I got a new 305 Kawasaki and kept it for a few years til my kids came along( 2 boys). Ten years without and I bought my brother-in-laws cb 650 Custom which I rode the wheels off for the next five years til I bought the Sporty in 98.
I've been married 25 years and my boys are now on there own .....mostly....my wife just bought an 883L after going quickly thru a Honda Rebel( not fast enough) and a 650 Savage(blown head gasket on a new bike). I've been tech surfing since I got my Glide and spend a fair amount of time on HTT( Gandolf).
Plan on keeping this bike a long time...maybe build the motor a little instead of trading and starting over. Like the 02 motor not keen on getting another newer one.
