Originally from England where I started riding streetbikes some 33 years ago, I'm now living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I'm currently the very proud owner of an FLSTS Heritage Springer. It's the second Harley I've owned but have had several other bikes both Japanese and European. I don't think any of them were really terrible from all aspects, some were just better at some things than others. My last bike was a 1200 Sportster and it did the trick in getting me hooked on Harley's. To sum it all up, at the present time I wouldn't consider owning anything else.

A lot of us here love all kinds of motorcycles, not just Harleys.

How long did you own the 1200? We often get questions about which bike to buy, Sportster v. Big Twin? Please share your experience when you see one of those questions come up.
