I have a 1984 Harley Super Glide FXRP 5 speed with the Evo engine. I have gout in my left big toe and can't shift up thru the gears because the shifter lands right on the toe joint that is inflicted with gout. I'm looking for an affordable heel and toe shifter so I can up shift with my heel and ride again. I'd appreciate any recommendations you might have. thank you, gregjo1948
Thanks ironworker40. I have a Bikers Choice Custom Forward Control that I want to adapt/fabricate a heel/toe shifter to. I found an "Edge Cut Billet Heel/Toe shifter that has adjustable lever positions. Has two levers so each one can be adjusted separately. I could get any dimensions on the parts so, I don't know if the shaft is the right diameter. It's made for much newer FLH models. Do you think the splines and shaft diameters would be the same?
