Does anyone have a recommendation to polish the headlamp bezel on a 1978 FLH 1200 back to its original "showroom lustre"

I tried this stuff called "Colonel Brassy"...NOT impressed..leaves streaks and takes forever to dry (unless you're in Arizona). Almosst better to use windex and a soft rag...

I've heard simichrome polish is good, but have no experience with it.

Your HD dealer should sell tubes of it for a couple bucks. Also available online.

There is a two part product called wenol, cleans most all metal products. The red tube of it cleans and the blue tube of it gives it a wet look, its no doubt the best metal polish ive ever seen.

It's aluminum. If it's not pitted, use Mothers wheel polish. If it has pits or is rough, you gonna have to use a buffer and a couple of different types of rouge.
