No one owns the road like Harley-Davidson. So starting in July 2002 and running through July 2003 highways and towns around the globe will experience the Harley-Davidson Open Road Tour. Making its worldwide debut in Atlanta, the Open Road Tour is a 10-city global traveling festival - the official kick-off to the world's largest rolling birthday party.

Encompassing over 25 acres of pure Harley-Davidson adrenaline, the festivals are the ultimate road trip, bringing the Harley-Davidson experience full throttle to everyone - non-riders and riders alike. Each stop will feature top musical entertainment, a children's area, custom and antique bike display, demo rides, motorcycle drill teams and stunt riders, movies, tattoos, biker fashion shows, and an extensive collection of rare, never-seen-before exhibits that include the history of Harley-Davidson and its motorcycles.

It will be the first time in history so many one-of-a-kind museum-quality pieces have been gathered in one place. All ten festivals will feature many of the same elements, but each stop will offer a unique interpretation of the Harley-Davidson experience.

Tickets for the Open Road Tour in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Toronto and Dallas are now on sale to the general public. Tickets are $55 US per day (plus service fee) for the US stops. Tickets for the Toronto stop are $75 CAD (plus service fee). There are no refunds or exchanges and the event will go on rain or shine. Entertainment will vary by location and will be different each day. Regrettably, ticket availability for the Open Road Tour at the Jersey Shore has been delayed. Please check back at a later date for more information.

Children 13 years and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Children 14 and older need a ticket to get in. For more details visit ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be on sale through 1-800-HD-100th.

The Open Road Tour will be a non-stop musical experience. Each day different regional and national acts will perform on two stages, offering an eclectic mix of styles and rhythms with something for everyone. A special evening concert featuring a major international act will finish off each incredible day for the expected 40,000-50,000 concert-goers.

Entertainment will vary at each Open Road Tour stop. Entertainment will be announced in May for some of the Open Road Tour stops.

The core of The Open Road Tour festival will be three 20,000-square-foot exhibits titled, "The Harley-Davidson Experience: Journey, Machine and Culture." A collection of some of the finest bikes, artifacts, photographs and video will be on display, direct from the Harley-Davidson Archives, manufacturing plants, and popular culture.
