HELP!

Has anyone installed the HD Mirror Extension kit on their "Street" to move the mirrors out a bit?

Is there a bolt missing in the kit to mount these extensions on a "Street"??

What am I missing here??

I can't seem to find a way to mount them to the bike, with the parts I have in the kit.

Oh well, no replies so I just returned the HD Mirror Extension Kit, and ordered the HD Tribal Mirrors.

Hopefully they will work better allowing me to see directly behind me.

HD should look into this huge safety issue/defect with the mirrors on the Street. Another recall???

OK the Tribal Mirrors don't fit either! WTF am I missing here? They won't thread into the handle bar. The mirror shaft is too small. It's like an insert is missing????

Finally got the Tribal Mirrors on. Even the dealership had to contact HD.
I have to admit that these aren't really any better, considering the price is about $150 CDN.
Now, do I try at add the Mirror Extenders on too?
That would put this at over $200 CDN to correct a safety defect that HD must have known about.
I have to say that other than for these crappy stock mirrors I love the bike BUT I do consider selling it just because of this.

Mirror extensions made for the Street out side to out side with out 29 inches with 33 Inches using stock mirrors Made by Krator cost $16 for set . They are some what cheap the bracket extension good the hardware cheap but it works. No instruction but anyone can figure it out. Just make sure if you have moved levers you can see the hole in the bars when you thread the bolt in or it will not tighten down. To tighten it needs pass into that hole.

I had my INDY put them while I had coffee. about a 20 minute job.
