Has anybody tried a Hayden M6 tension in their 1200 custom? And if so, did you re-use the original primary cover gasket? Not ever having it off, I'm not sure what type of gasket they use. The derby cover has a rubber gasket, and I re-used it with no problems when I installed her easy pull clutch kit. I re-used the gasket on my Deuce and it worked just fine, but I'd like to hear from those that have been there, and done that. Thanks in advance.

Never mind. I bought a gasket anyway. And the tensioner doesn't fit the '04 and up 1200's. They evidently changed the inside of the cover where the tensioner bolts to. I think they either added gussets, or enlarged existing gussets, but the base of the tensioner won't sit flat like it needs to in that spot for the bolt hole to line up with the hole in the cover. At least I was able to visually inspect the inside and change the oil while I was at it.
