I am thinking about upgrading my old 94 FXDWG to a 99. The money is right but I am concerned about the motor holding up. I have been known to light up the tire sometimes. I wouldn't say I hard on them just like to have fun....
Yep, I have owned 2 TCs so far and been satisfied with each one. Put 29000 miles on the FXDL before I got the itch for a bagger (FLHPI).I had both motors built to 95", w/ cams , pistons etc. Often known as one who likes to "ring her out" from time to time, and never had any problems. I say go for it . Just my .02
Just sold my early 99 model fxdwg. Had the recalled performed in Dec 98 and it was never back to the dealer for a thing(over 10K). Smoothest, tightest HD I owned. No leaks, no runs, no errors...Just hope the 03 TC88B is as good.
