You forgot to say what bars are on it??? Stock bars on a XLH-883 are pull back is that what you got? If so you may have cable probs, not long enought. Personaly I like the stock speedo mount so I changed my bars, but if you want to re do the looks of the front end & like your bars use higher risers. I also use old school, bars are bars, I usaly go cheep.
