My bushings have gone bad on my Dyna.... is there is way to temporaily fix the problem? Kind of a band-aid for now? Wallet is kind of thin right now.

Are your risers starting to skew? I replaced my stock bushings with a set of Arlen Ness polyurethane bushings for around $50. The set came with new chrome caps and bolts so I would assume you could order bushings only from your local dealer for much less.

Do you mean the dampers which hold the risers? If so, you can get a cheap pair for 10 bucks:

If you have apes, get stiffer ones, here's a set for 15 bucks:

Don't know of any band-aid for this and wouldn't want to mess around with any type of band-aid that could fail as it could kill you.

Or do you mean the risers are not holding the bar and they can move back and forth? You can drill a hole in the riser, tap it out and put in a set screw or drill through the bar and bolt it in place.

or you could shim the risers with a bit of aluminum from a beer can...just cut a thin strip and lay it between the bar and riser.

Agree with the above if you're talking the rubber bushings that mate the risers to the triple, replace them, you don't want to risk a loss of control...especially at highway speeds.
