Hi all. I'm a new member here and a new rider. I grew up around dirt bikes but recently just got my first street bike: a '75 ironhead:
Not being too mechanically inclined, I know I've jumped into the pool head first (before checking for water). I bought it out of state without even hearing it run, but it's a good looking bike (don't you agree?); plus I was assured it was 100% road ready. Turns out that's not exactly the case, but the price was right so I'm not going to bitch about it.
Nice looking scoot and :welcome:to the VTF, where you will find all the answers to any question you might have.
Where are you from in GA?
I will be moving to the Newnan area next spring.
Post up often and ride safe.
Steve.
I'm in Powder Springs (Cobb County), about 10 miles NW of Atlanta. I not sure how this are compares to Fort Worth, but I love living here. I recently moved from Connecticut and life here is much more laid back... and cheaper.
Great looking Iron Head dude. Must sound great. Looks great.
You have landed on your feet.
You have chosen the right forum for all the correct reasons. A forum of great people and even greater motorcycles. The boundaries are that of the imagination.

Hello fellow Georgian, welcome to the board. I'm in Suwanee, 35 miles NE up I-85 and also started on a Sporty. You should go out riding tomorrow, the weather should be good after noon.
Maybe the seller meant ready to leave you waiting for a tow truck on the side of the road? haha I am sure you will get all the kinks worked out and it will be a sweet running ride.
:welcome: to the forums.
