imy wife asked if i wanted to go out on the scoot today... don't know if this happens to anyone else or not, but it usually means she wants me to get something for her. not that i'm complaining!! she gets what she wants and i get a ride on the bike - we both win!!!

what a great day for a ride - it was in the upper 50s/lower 60s, sun shining and the roads were close to empty. at one point i can to a stop light. while waiting a guy, with his daughter in tow, pulls up next to me on a new black and white deluxe - he's got an ear to ear grin. i tell him happy thanksgiving and what a nice looking bike he has. says he just picked it up and he's out enjoying the day - and what a beautiful day to be out.

i could have ridden all day - but had to get back to put the bird in the oven!!!

hope everyone is having as great of a thanksgiving as i am!!!

Rode to work yesterday....29 degrees in A.M.

Snowed 3 inches today. The darn roads are wet and full of sand. I would ride but don't want to get the salt and sand on the bike.

Good to hear you were able to ride.

i tell you, i don't mind riding in the cold, it's the snow (and ice) i stay away from. like you, i don't want to get the snad and salt all over my bike, not to mention the cages out there that don't know what they're doing. we have enough to worry about when the roads are clear - don't want to chance it when they're covered in snow!!!

maybe i'll get out tomorrow for some more riding - it's only supposed to be in the 30s or 40s...

I don't think it got out of the low thirties today so needless to say she stayed in the shed. Tried out the chaps a few days ago when it was 40 degrees. Currently in negotiations with the wife to move to a warmer place. So far she's told me I can move, she and the kids stay, and I have to send my paychecks home. Either she mis-interpreted what I meant or she's trying to tell me something??

It is the Salt that you have to worry about.

That and all the cagers because they are not expecting to see a someone on 2 wheels.

Freezing rain with very high winds today or else I would be riding.

Was in the 60's here in CO. Went over 10,000ft Kenosha Pass and enjoyed South Park for an hour or so, then returned for the three F's... football, food, and family.

I went out for a ride on Turkey day as well. My wifes cousin flew in from Texas for the holiday. So he rented a Duece, and we went for a ride out to the coast, with some family and a close friend. We took him out to a little town called Capitola, and parked the bikes out on the pier. The tem stayed in the high 50's, low 60's. put in a little over 150 miles, then headed hope, where the little misses had a huge dinner waiting. Couldn't have had a better day:thumbsup:

I ride year round, so I can definitely smell what you're cookin..:D

Gonna take the scoot out today, as I need to run a few errands. Temps will be in the high 30's ...and that's a freaking heat wave compared to how it's been lately.

Happy Holidays! :)
