Ya, good luck with that. It might work on low traffic residential streets. But not on busy roads. And then there will be targeting issues. If they flag cars and scooters and such, but give big trucks a pass, then the courts will kill it.

Problem is the guys with really loud bikes, and the guys that rev them up at bad times. They will come down with a hammer on the rest of us.
I am so-so on the loud pipes save lives.
I lived by a bar. At 2am, I was hoping that harley rider would crash in the ditch.

Problem is that the people who screwed Cali up are moving out and headed to Texas. They say Taxes are too high. And are too stupid to realize that the programs they demanded are the reason for the high taxes.
That's the problem, California Liberals are moving to other states and taking their votes with them. Seen Oregon and Washington accepting some of the same BS ideas? Reciprocity has even made it easy. "It's already drafted and on their books let's just adopt it!" Where can I move to that's free now? I was thinking about Texas! LOL! And I don't like Tornadoes so the midwest is out. I'm actually thinking about another country!

I wonder if they think what a bunch of commies in TX. They don't even have bike inspections by government in CA.
Even Texas looks at itself as a separate Country....

Way to much government for me. TX and NJ require bike inspections, but not CA.
At least not currently...
There has not been bike inspections in NJ for a long time now. Cars they check to see if it has any codes in the computer and check the gas cap for psi and nothing else.
I remember they used to set up surprise inspections for cars in California in the 70s. I once fooled them by placing a fake vacuum pot and hose on my distributor on my 70 Barracuda. I had mechanical advance racing distributor.
