So I spend some bucks and install a V&H Pro pipe with the standard baffle on an 03 Heritage.
Tuned with a #48 slow, 190 main and 88 sportster needle.
Runs strong, but...... the ultimate insult: my wife says it sounds like a Goldwing!!
So, if I put in the competition baffle, or run no baffle, anyone got a rough estimate of how much torque I'd lose and at what RPM?

Will it really suck around town and for day trips?

If I change/pull the baffle think I need to Rejet?

Hmmmm....interesting. My wife says the ProPipe on our carbed FXD is a bit loud. I like it...sounds great when accelerating hard, not too loud at reasonable throttle. Several riding buds say it sounds super and are thinking of buying ProPipes. BTW, mine has the standard baffle with fiberglass.
