Start on the low side of pump stroke you really do not want to go over 1/2 throttle as it is mask needel and get into the main jet.

As well back on of the gap a bit to get the pump to hit a bit sooner.

I've got about 2mm of play before the pump kicks in, and it seems to let me get out of idle before it hits- works fine.

The out of box setup felt a little lean at first. Then, i took a few hot runs over the mountain, and I guess i broke my motor in, because it quieted down, ran noticeably cooler, and suddenly the carb didn't seem lean anymore.

There's good low end, a little flat spot in the mid range rpms, and then a nice power band up high. I have the rev limiter set to 6000, but she stops pulling before it hits, so i guess i don't have to worry about it.:woohoo:
