Beneath the bike, on the front of the gas tank skid plate, is a bracket to hold something. Is this where the siren mounts ? TIA.

I have no idea, but all Harley accessories I've purchased come with pretty good directions complete with installation photos. Maybe you can swing by a dealership and ask to look at the instructions if they have the part you're interested in in stock.

You can also call the HD support line. They're very good at providing accessory support.

Charcoal canister, ugh, glad I don't live in California. Thanks Quicksilver. I think that I will try and make a mounting bracket there for a small toolkit or pouch.

The siren easily mounts under the seat, takes less than 10 minutes and I am not a mechanic. What you are looking at is someting else.
